Making up for lost time.

A Thorn in the Flesh

Well since Wednesday was such a wash, at least in my opinion, we decided to start early again and give it another try. It was certainly worth another try.

So at 7:30 am we began with a meeting with Akiva Tor, the director of the Office of World Jewish Affairs in the Foreign Ministry. I had met Akiva before when I was last in Israel and had kept up a correspondence with him over the past year. Akiva was the official with whom we meet two days after PCUSA released Zionism Unsettled, the document which you know I thought so little about. So it was good to see Akiva and get a rather solid assessment of the condition of the relationship of Jews with the rest of the world.
