World Communion Sunday was a special day for the young people of Discovery. We had a wonderful fellowship evening Saturday night, complete with a pizza dinner and our favorite game of Romans and Christians. Hands were busy kneading and braiding the dough for our beautiful challah loaves. What a blessing to have our bread on the Lord’s table for World Communion Sunday!
We talked in Discovery Sunday morning about what part of the world was included in that title and continued our discussion of what it means to name and be named. We will be looking at how we separate ourselves into different denominations and branches of Christianity and what this really means. We continued to explore the ways in which we name ourselves and others and what feels good and bad about that.
Thank you to the Crawfords for providing breakfast!
