Daily Prayers for Holy Saturday

—Holy Saturday—

MORNING PRAYER

OPENING SENTENCES O Lord, open my lips.  And my mouth shall proclaim your praise. Joseph had taken down his body, wrapped it in linen,  and placed it in a new tomb, cut from solid rock. The women had gone home to prepare spices for the body. It was the sabbath, so they rested as the law commanded.
