One of GPC’s transformative ministries occurs at Pierce Elementary School in Philadelphia. As many of you are aware, most Philadelphia elementary schools have lost their libraries and librarians because of a lack of funding. At Pierce, an effort was undertaken by members of GPC and volunteers in the community to provide a library and allow the students to check out books. This has made an impact in the lives of these students.

We are looking for more volunteers to help out at Pierce, and continue this ministry to the children. If you would like to volunteer or would like more information, please contact Joanne Markman or Pastor Todd Stavrakos.
