Well we have made it, finally. Getting to Iona is quite a journey in its own right. We flew into Edinburgh then transited via bus to Oban. If you have never driven a bus through the Scottish countryside, just imagine a three hour roller coaster! On the way, we stopped to visit with Margaret’s family at Arnprior Farms.

We stopped in Oban last night and this morning boarded a ferry to the Isle of Mull, where we then boarded another bus that took us to Fionnphort where we boarded the final ferry to Iona.

I hope to have some photos soon but we are dealing with Wifi issues!
