PA progressive activists and legislators come together for a virtual rally for a #PeoplesBudget, highlighting what Pennsylvania needs  to come out of the COVID-19 pandemic stronger than before

Harrisburg, PA — The We The People campaign, a nonpartisan campaign committed to creating a state government that works for every Pennsylvanian, will host elected officials including Sen. Vincent Hughes and Rep. Matt Bradford for a virtual day of action focused on this year’s budget. Activists will call for a #PeoplesBudget, highlighting what Pennsylvania needs to come out of the COVID-19 pandemic stronger than before.

With COVID-19 hitting working families and people of color hard across the Commonwealth, it’s never been more important for our state budget to put people first and provide a path to recovery for the Pennsylvania economy.  During this event, supporters of the We The People campaign will have the opportunity to voice their concerns directly to members of the PA General Assembly.
