Some students have returned to school, but the majority will begin next Tuesday. We all know how anxious this process has been for families and communities as decisions have been made and then changed. Working families have had to make arrangements and then make new arrangements when plans change. Children have gone to bed thinking one thing, only to wake up to something different.
Most of the students in the area will begin their school year remotely, which pose tremendous challenges for families, including the mental and emotional needs of the students themselves. Parents find themselves pondering what is the greater challenge and threat, the isolation children will experience or the health threat of Covid.
Let us keep all the families in our prayers over the next few days and weeks. They will need it!
