Bethel AME Church has asked for our support in preparing meals for Thanksgiving for families who need them. Since the kitchen at Bethel is in disrepair, they will be using GPC’s kitchen to help prepare the meals.

If you would like to support their efforts there are opportunities to volunteer to help pick up the food, prepare and package the meals, as well as donate needed items.

Some items that are needed:

• Desserts that can be packaged
• 200 dinners roles
• 8-12 Turkeys
• Loaves of bread
• Collard greens (3 cases)
• Green beans (3 cases)
• 50 lbs of chicken

Volunteers needed to help with:

• Friday, Nov 20th: Unloading food at GPC 
• Monday, Nov 23rd: Food prep
• Tuesday, Nov 24th: Food packaging and delivering of meals.
