On Tuesday, October 12th at 7 pm, we will begin a five part series on the history of the Church and Anti-Semitism. This study will explore the theme of reconciliation as proclaimed by the Apostle Paul and see how the church throughout two thousand years ignored this witness and instead pursued the bloody trail of violence and bigotry of anti-Semitism.
The study will focus on “classic” examples of anti-Semitism as well as explore modern manifestations, drawing a connection between the two. It will also explore examples on the left and right on the political spectrum, demonstrating that this is not a problem on one side or the other but instead show how anti-Semitism can be found in all walks of life.
The program will be offered on Zoom and can be accessed on the GPC Zoom site.
