Our spiritual home isn’t just where we go to worship on Sundays. Our home is also in our community. Our partnerships are based on active work with friends, neighbors and organizations on an everyday basis working side by side with our community. Most of the members of our congregation have a passion for a particular cause or organization.
We support one another in these passions and are ready and willing to jump in with a helping hand for whatever is needed – building a garden, attending a rally, writing letters to politicians, collecting food or hygiene items, donating books, or even building a library.

SUPPORT PROJECTS
Social Justice work is critical to GPC – it’s in our DNA. That’s why wherever there’s a need, you’ll find us. Whether it’s drives for families or immigrants in need, or holiday projects, service is what we do.

LOCAL PARTNERSHIPS
We work hand-in-hand with amazing local groups, including Mantua, Neighbors Helping Neighbors, Hands Creating Change, the Broad Street Ministry, the People’s Emergency Center, and Peter’s Place, just to name a few.

ONGOING INITIATIVES
When it comes to our community, our commitments never end. We’re committed to serving our community including supporting Philadelphia school libraries, gardens, West Kensington, the Common Place, POWER Metro, the Ludlow Community Association, and Pennsylvania Education Advocacy.
